Reviews
Love this place, one of my co workers took me here a while back and it's become a regular spot for me during work days. The place was recently renovated. It's nice and clean inside. The staff is really nice and attentive and I love the lunch specials. I normally get the butter chicken lunch special and ask for it to be medium spice. Normally it's not spicy at all, more sweet but I like a little kick especially on those cold days. The chicken is cooked in a tandoor oven and you can taste the flavor and char. The naan is probably the best I've ever had. Its so gooey, buttery and flaky. I could eat the naan all day. It also comes with an appetizer of soup and small finger food, the entree and dessert. The appetizer and dessert changes daily. If you have mood for Indian food, give Flambe a try! PS. Try the garlic naan too. You wont be disappointed.
I heard from some fellow neighbors that Flambé India was done remodeling and that their food has returned to the quality that it once was. Excited to hear this good news, Hubs and I placed our take out order right away. We ordered our usuals because it's a great way to see if in fact their food is as it was. I'm thrilled that YES! the quality has returned (YAY!) We ordered chicken and cilantro samosas, the tomato soup, tandoori chicken, mater paneer and naan. The samosas were flakey and crispy. A bit overly salty but maybe that's because we don't use a lot of salt at home. The flavors of the ground chicken and cilantro are well blended with the right amount of spice. The tandoori chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection. The tomato soup is incredible - it's a great starter to our meal with a tasty spice blend and flavor. It's no ordinary tomato soup! The mater paneer was cooked different from other places, but filled with nice small cubes of paneer making it a filling dish. It comes with a good portion of freshly steamed basmati rice which is nice. The naan isn't as fluffy as other places, but the serving is decent. I wish it was a little less doughy and charred a little more in the tandoor, but it's the perfect utensil for the food! Picking up the order was easy. The inside was well lit and the bar was relocated from the previous location. The woman who helped us when we picked up the order has been there for a while which is a good thing meaning they treat their staff well. I'm so happy that the quality of food has returned to what we know as yummy. I hope the consistency remains!
Flambe was an absolutely amazing experience. Everything from the vibe to the service was excellent! We loved the decor, it was so stunning. The food was just as good. The classic flambe experience was so worth it, if you go definitely order the flambe skewer. We had the mango harbenero paneer tikka and it was delicious! We also tried their malai soya chaap and malai kofta, which were made to perfection. The breads were the perfect amount of soft and buttery! I would definitely recommend getting the lacha parantha and the basil garlic naan! The chef and his wife are amazing at what they do and the servers are just as great! 10/10!
We pulled up looking for this restaurant. I tried their facility in Libertyville. I could not find my review really pretty restaurant extensive menu.. Today I found the one in Buffaloe Grove. I pulled up. The parking lot was pretty busy lotta people eating outside. We went inside and half the tables were gone. I guess there must've been some type of a fire and so the dining room inside was closed. We sat down and ordered , the menus I need to learn more about it. Everything was really good. Highly recommend this place gigantic portions drinks the best soup I've ever had in my life. I think it had mint and coconut coconut ginger very, very good.
The restaurant is so romantic and beautiful! The food is amazing and great prices! The service was great, very nice staff. Casual attire and full drink menu with mock-tail options.
